Julio A. Diaz-Perez, was born in Malaga, Colombia. He received his MD degree and did his initial residency in Anatomic Pathology in Colombia. Then he carried out training in Molecular Pathology at the National Cancer Research Center in Madrid, Spain, and concurrently he received his MS degree in Medicine. Since then he have been working as Professor of Pathology in the University of Santander in Colombia, and as Research Fellow in the University of California in San Diego.
Alberto G. Menchen, was born in Algeciras (Cadiz), Spain. He obtained his MD degree from the Universidad de Navarra and PhD degree from the Universidad de Cordoba. He was trained in Anatomic Pathology at the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofia in Cordoba (Spain), where he was appointed Associate Pathologist in 2010 and Staff Physician for the Pathology Division. In 2009 he carried out advanced training in Molecular Pathology and Hematopathology, and he realized his MS degree in Molecular Oncology at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) in Madrid, Spain in 2011. He is Member of the Sociedad Española de Anatomia Patologica SEAP, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
